Central Vietnam affected by floods and landslides

News 28 Nov 2020

In October and November 2020 Vietnam has been plagued by consecutive tropical storms and typhoons. These storms brought widespread flooding and landslides to Central Vietnam, disrupting electricity and telecommunication networks, as well as destroying infrastructure, houses, livestock and crops. Local NGOs, volunteers and residents have been working tirelessly alongside the government to deliver aid to those who have been most affected.

Employees from Nedspice Processing Vietnam raised $2.500 in personal contributions to help those in need. To encourage personal commitments Nedspice decided to double the amount and contributed an additional amount, resulting in a total donation of $9.500.

Part of this money is donated to Red Cross in Binh Duong, the other part is directly donated to victims in Tra My who have been especially hit hard.
Red Cross Vietnam continues to deliver aid package and funds in the aftermath of this natural disaster and still very much welcomes donations. For more information see: http://redcross.org.vn/
