Newest Nedspice factory receives FSSC 22000, BRCGS and FSMA certifications

News 06 Jul 2021

To meet the demand for high-quality spices Nedspice decided to upgrade its warehouse in Binh Phuoc, Vietnam with a full processing line. The new process line was finalised in January 2021 and Nedspice Binh Phuoc now has the capacity to clean and sterilize around 25,000 tonnes of whole pepper per year.

The new factory is in no way inferior to its established big brother in Binh Duong in terms of quality and food safety. Which is confirmed by the fact that the new factory recently passed independent audits for three relevant food safety certificates: FSSC 22000, BRCGS and FSMA.

The Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) is an international accepted and recognisable certification scheme for food safety management systems and consist of a combination of ISO 22000, sector specific PRP and additional requirements. The Global Standard for Food Safety (BRCGS) is a detailed framework that manages product safety, integrity, legality and quality as well as the operational controls for these criteria. In conjunction with BRCGS Nedspice Binh Phuoc also successfully completed the BRCGS Module 13 – FSMA on preventive controls and preparedness.

We are very proud on this accomplishment and look forward to supplying you with spices from the Binh Phuoc factory.
